Aspects of the Holistic Home

Every part of our being is significantly influenced by our home environment. The main categories and aspects of the Holistic Home we take into consideration are

The design of the home can touch all of our senses - we can feel comfortable when there is harmony amongst them.

Our brains are stimulated by and reacting to our surroundings. The closer a home relates to nature, the better we feel. The materials, colors and systems we choose can create optimal conditions for our minds to thrive.

The home has the capacity to nourish our soul based on our activities, create the conditions to form a community and to deepen our spirituality, as well as stimulate creative expression.

Depending on the climate, location and orientation of our home we could set ourselves up to flourish in all directions of our lives.

The way in which a space is planned - its layout, movement and circulation, spaciousness, patterns and textures – prescribes and guides how we occupy and use the home.
